Who: Hellboy and ???
What: The final stop on a scenic tour of Baedal's sewer system.
Where: Baedal Below
When: Sukkardi Evening
Warnings:Nothing yet? Mild horror and biomedical ick.

Deep under Baedal, far away from the 'civilized' Undercity, past the wild mushroom farms and their curious minders, lies mile after mile of tunnels. Layers of construction from previous iterations of the city, catacombs, abandoned (and probably never used) metro stations, natural and unnatural caves and corridors. Should one go searching through these tunnels, perhaps tracking shoggoths at the behest of Hellsing, one will eventually find a rather large and reinforced door in the tunnel wall. It looks much newer than the actual tunnel, and one may surmise that it's a later installation.

Certainly, it's large enough for a shoggoth to squeeze through and right now, it's open and appears undamaged. Dim artificial light spills out through the opening. There is a buzz of malfunctioning electricity and the dripping of liquid. Something sounds like it's groaning in there.

Beyond the door is a huge room. Whoever designed it went to great lengths to minimize the sound pollution, as there is almost no echo in here. At one point it must have been brightly lit but now the chief illumination comes from a lone worklight over a desk and a fusebox that's giving off sparks. It smells strongly of chemicals and blood. The lumpy forms of two dead people lie off to the side. One man, one woman. Both human. They appear to have been electrocuted, though the man was stabbed some time before that. There are at least two other doors in here.

Who: Jim Kirk, Leonard McCoy, Jones, Tadhg MacEibhir, Martha Jones, Hasibe Ozcelik

What: Those who would help the good captain rescue tinies, assemble!

Where: the catacombs in the north Spatters area.

When: The 1st, starting at 6 pm. The day after the events here

Notes: Lineup for the log may change as I consult with people. Tag in, talk with Jim, talk with each other, whatever you like. Claire wrote the first four paragraphs, for setup—thank you! :D

Warnings: Mentions of child abuse and murder, plus additional NPC menacing of children, and Jim being violent and briefly torturing someone for information, in the narrative set-up behind the cut. Also tl;dr, look, the words just came out, okay.

Ketch Heath, on the official city map, ends at a point. In reality, there are no clear divisions, no lines on the ground or any neat borders where grass ends and dreary fog-covered dirt begins; the buildings continue, tacked onto streets that haven't been kept up in hundreds of years, cracked and overgrown - shanty towns and wooden structures intersperse the framework of things both old and hauled in through the fog. To miles past what passes for the border in between the edge of the canton and the Spatters, down a crumbling alley, a meeting is taking place.

The area is otherwise deserted - there's not much viable, picked clean and dirty, and the occasional lookout that can be seen peering through cracks in old boarded up windows assume anyone not dressed like a Militia agent has been invited. (Because who else would know where to go, and when?)

For the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these… )

Who: Wanda and Remy
What: Investigating the catacombs and tunnels under the city
Where: ... the tunnels
When: Mid-evening, Misdi
Notes: PLOTS
Warnings: Stand by.

Subterranean tunnels are not exactly a new one on any superhero (or villain) from Wanda and Remy's world. Dark, dank, creepy, and prone to unsettling sounds--at this point, Wanda is no longer as fazed as she probably ought to be, but that doesn't mean she's letting her guard down. She navigates the tunnels with care, keeping some attention on where Remy is. While she doubts they'll get separated for any reason, the flashlight she carries only illuminates so much of the tunnel up ahead, and the steady drip of liquid makes it hard to focus on any other sounds that might indicate another presence in the area.

However, something does sneak through. Wanda stops, looking up at Remy.

"Did you hear that?"

It sounds like electricity--almost akin to television static. It's very quiet, but it's also constant.
