Who: Lucius Malfoy (Sr) and Severus Snape β
What: Picking up some shopping, as you do, and chance of civil conversation.
Where: Severus' apothecary in Sobek Croix
When: Sssslightly backdated?

He arrives when the store is near closing, the sun reaching for the horizon as the clock ticks inevitably towards six. It's to avoid people in general, even if the only people that Lucius finds sharing the same space with to be remotely awkward would be his fellow wizards, both from his time and otherwise. He wasn't lying, however, about what ingredients he was having difficulty obtaining.

He wasn't lying about needing them either.

Sweeping inside, he pauses to both look around as well as loosen his coat a little against the change of temperature, as haggard as anyone has left him but still dressed in expensively cut wools and cottons and satin linings, shoes polished.

Who: Pietro Maximoff & Erik Lehnsherr
What: Amiable father/son bonding, surely.
Where: X-Bros residence in Mafaton
When: Shundi afternoon
Warnings: None yet.
It's a gusty day in Mafaton, at least that's what seems, for all intents and purposes, to be happening in the block or two surrounding Charles and Erik's newly-rented home.

He wasn't lying when he told Wanda he only wants to talk their father – or this stranger who may or may not become the man they know, if he were to put it more generously. Pietro doesn't care to give Magneto the benefit of the doubt, whatever the universe. (Things won't be different, he reminds himself; they're never different.) But the fact is, Erik is an unknown quantity, and that alone is concerning enough for him to attempt to remedy.

And he can't avoid the man forever. If his run-in with Ilde proved anything, it's that the city isn't big enough for that. They'll have to meet sooner or later; he just wants to do it on his terms.

Apparently, that means staking out the neighborhood beforehand, intermittently and quicker than the eye can follow. There are brief flashes of him throughout the day, blurs of white and grey that are gone before one has time for a second glance, if anyone sees him at all. He notes the exits, what metal he can see from a distance, and waits to catch only one of its residents at home.

Finally, there's a rush of wind against the front windows and he's simply there, standing on the step. Knock knock?

pain is a feeling. your feelings are a part of you. your own reality. if you feel ashamed of them, and hide them, you’re letting society destroy your reality. you should stand up for your right to feel your pain. )

WHO: Princess Nuala, Anna Demirovna
WHAT: A few things clarified.
WHERE: The Hellsing Residence; Princess Nuala's room.
WHEN: Shortly after Nuala's injuries; reposted from LJ.
WARNINGS: Discussion of violence, the Balor twins' disturbing relationship, etc.

It is eventually both necessary and feasible to move Nuala out of the infirmary itself; without Bethmooran healers and without Nuada at hand to ensure that both twins are receiving proper care, much of her recovery process will be a matter of maintenance, keeping her comfortable and stable and not letting her up and about to work. This is, she strongly feels, the very worst of it; there is so much still that she must do, and she can hardly afford to waste her hours in idleness. There's only so much she can do from her own bed, particularly when the Hellsing nurses in and out to tend to her are engaged in committing the cardinal offense of actually enforcing doctor's orders to rest and let heself heal.

The injuries, extensive as they are, will heal -- faster for the twins than they might on mere mortals, even -- but she's always been a difficult patient and the awareness of how much else is tied into her recovery now hardly helps. The obligatory cursory investigation into the incident only encourages the rumours that they have chosen not to contradict (Hellboy, who can be trusted with the truth of the matter, handles that); it's smarter, long term, to let this work for rather than against them. It's only that she wishes she could have more of a hand in it, that this terribly useful thing didn't have to come at the expense of her own health, comfort and workload.

There are a few things she can take care of from here, however; when Anna is summoned, the nurse at the door admonishes her not to overfuss the princess with the air of someone who has had a very long day already.
