It's like paradise, spread out with a butter knife :: [OPEN]
Who: EVERYONE
What: Réjean has decided that more people ought to celebrate and help raise a bit of dosh for one of his favourite bars. See: flyer.
Where: The Apache.
When: Misdi night and into the wee hours of the morning.
Warnings: Discussion of Pickman's manky feet.
The Apache is much the same as it always is: dimly lit, with the jukebox playing in the background, and the bartender serving whatever's on tap. Tonight, the bar is packed with people from all across the city, different cantons and cohorts, all out to celebrate surviving the fungal plague. Patrons are encouraged to buy tickets for a door prize with the proceeds going to repair the damage tunnelling ants made to the cellar.

He sees that the two of them are probably about to start talking, and he looks around, trying to find where drinks are happening. Ah, hell with it. "Where'd y'get the glass?"

"Mostly business, mostly for the undead, but I take the occasional housecall." Despite the stink, Njoki likes Pickman -- partly because he's a pack animal like she is and partly because he's not put off by the more unsavoury aspects of her work. He's a good roommate.

After a moment's consideration, he nods at Njoki. "I work for Hellsing," he says with a shrug of self-consciousness at having brought up work at a celebration. "We don't have much call for that, but it's good to have an idea of who to talk to if it ever comes up."

He is very much a pack animal. And a lower ranking one, at that -- eager to please, and happy to follow orders if he gets a little approval (or a good meal) in exchange. Natural minion material, some would say.

"And, yeah? I wanted to give them a call sometime, see what's what."

"Oh, good. I recommend calling ahead and making an appointment rather than just dropping in. The security's a little hardcore. You'd probably want to talk to Princess Nuala, and she may or may not bring Sir Integra in, depending on how they're doing things." His own experience with the Personnel process was a bit... abbreviated, given his odd semi-connections to each of them.

Even without getting into the fact that she shifts, Njoki is a little concerned about how Hellsing would take the fact that she is openly practising magic that some people might not look favourably upon.

After a moment for a quick sip from his water glass, Hellboy nods. "Oh, yeah, the investigation's an important part of things. I mean, I've been around, I can imagine what the organization gone wrong could look like. We make sure to only get involved when whoever -- or, sometimes, whatever -- is hurting others, or needs help getting by without hurting others."
If nothing else, Hellboy's own appearance should point to how flexible Hellsing is in tolerating unusual people, as long as they're friendly.
