St Kelley's is one of the more sedate occasions in Baedal, at least as holidays go. It passes more or less unnoticed by the majority of the population as many of them feel it doesn't concern them. It's not their holiday; it's for the others. Those with severed ties and broken hearts. The temple and church preach that it's a time for reflection or for glorifying the generosity of the gods. It's one of the few days on which no one looks askance at first generation Citizens mourning their missing loved ones publicly.

As night rolls around and floating lanterns are set to sea, the Apache in Mog Hill prepares to accept guests from the newer cohorts. It's something that happens every year, making it a practical tradition. The alcohol will be cheaper for first timers, and the music will be kept at a reasonable level.

"No, it sucks. It doesn't even mean anything, it's supposed to be a nickname for 'Marguerite,' it's like naming your kid 'Jenny' -- oh, thanks!" She cranes backwards to try and see them and ends up turning in a circle over and over like a dog chasing its tail. "They get in the way a lot. Though. I mean. Is it conceited to be like 'oh yeah I know'?"

"Names that mean things are so trite!" Kaitlyn counters with a laugh. "An' besides, I'd rather be named Megan than Marguerite. A little too old fashioned for me, I think." And Kaitlyn really can't help but laugh as Megan spins around, though she does at least try to put a hand over her mouth and hide it. "That makes sense, I bet they would. And no, totally not!" Kaitlyn replies with a grin. "There is totally nothing wrong with knowing you're awesome," she remarks, holding up a hand and producing a small, round ball of light. "Or that you can do something awesome. Or have somethin- you get the idea!"
