The weekend had gotten busy as things do and the time for tea and a chat had been moved to what Charles knows better as Tuesday. Thankfully his schedule allows him certain freedoms on weekdays and he is at the tea house with plenty of time to spare before he meets Miss Bishop.

He orders a cup of earl grey and sits ear a window, opening a book and making notes in the margins as he waits.

The following article appears in the paper on Givdi morning:
Attacked by Cruorvore - Survivors Tell Tale!

THREE CITIZENS very nearly fell victim to a bloodthirsty fiend last night as they were walking home.

The three, who prefer to remain anonymous as they fear reprisal from the cruorvore community, were attacked outside of the Owl and Charger, a popular public house in Ludmead. One of the shocked survivors said: "We were minding our own business when the fiend attacked. He was a vampire, I am sure of it!"

The chilling incident came almost exactly a week after five innocent lives were taken in a horrific attack on the Skyrail.

"We would've died if [name redacted] wasn't carrying a can of Burns Like Blazes Holy Water," said another. Concerned Citizens, a progressive group that believes citizens are best kept safe when informed and prepared to deal with cruorvores encourages living Baedalites to dress appropriately and carry some form of personal self-defense device.

Coardi evening... )
