- For objects that might not be immediately apparent as belonging to their owners, there may be a picture or name attached, or players are welcome to have their characters ~just know~ it's for them. Drr drr drr, bb.
- Party post nights are a great time to come join the chatroom.
- The topic threads are just suggestions; if you've got somewhere else that your characters simply must be, make your own thread.
The Apache is much the same as it always is: dimly lit, with the jukebox playing in the background, and the bartender serving whatever's on tap.

"Yes, ma'am," he says, recognition lighting his eyes. "That's what it said on the note. Sorry, I just had to make sure. I'm Captain Steve Rogers--" and here he offers his right hand, still holding the cauldron by the other one-- "and if you need me to carry this someplace for you, I don't mind at all."
no subject
Slowly, she takes that hand, but offers a firm, brief shake, not especially formal. "Captain Steve Rogers," she repeats. "That a military, U.S. military rank?"
no subject
He nods, smiling faintly. "Yes, ma'am. I'm U.S. Army but I was attached to the Special Scientific Reserve, a joint American-British tasked with combating Nazi scientific research and special forces in Europe."
And then he waits, because another thing he's gotten used to, since coming to Baedal, is being asked what year he's from or if he means real Nazis. Seems most everyone here comes from some time after his.
no subject
"Well-- thank you," a hand gesture, "for your service, and for my cauldron. You can-- do you want to meet me outside? I'm just going to let my sister know I'm going home. I have kids, so I can't really stay, but if you want to load it into a carriage for me, you'd be my hero."
no subject
He doesn't say anything, though, it's not his place. He smiles, and nods. "I can do that. I'll see you outside, take your time."
A pause, and then: "...And I'm sure you can probably manage from there, seeing as it's your cauldron and all. I'm sure you've got moving it around down. But if you did decide it would be easier for me to get it into your house for you, too, well, I wouldn't mind. I don't mean to cause you any offense and I sure hope I'm not. I'm just making that known."
He sketches out a quick salute, and then he strides off, still gripping the cauldron one-handed.
no subject
"You didn't cause any offense," she says, belatedly, thus adding a, "by the way. I'm still a little bit, you know-- I'm from a small town, and I'm still trying to decide if you're..." She squints a little, trying to select the word, but settles on; "...real."
no subject
He shifts the cauldron to his left hand, raising his right arm to hail one of the carriages. "And I'm glad I didn't cause any offense. I wanted to be sure." Now it's his turn to pause, his turn to try to find the right words. "Where I'm from? It's kinda common for fellas to assume that every lady they come across needs their help, without, you know, asking them. So I just wanted to make sure you knew I was offering help because I really wanted to offer it, not because I was being like those meatheads and assuming you couldn't do something because you're a lady."
no subject
"Well, thank you. Fortunately for me, I've had some practice lugging that thing around, so I'll be fine from here, or, when I get back. Not that I don't think the, uh, gods weren't doing me a favour in giving it to you to haul around for me first."
no subject
A carriage pulls up, and he loads the cauldron into it, making sure it's secure. "You need anything else while I'm out here?"
