The Apache is much the same as it always is: dimly lit, with the jukebox playing in the background, and the bartender serving whatever's on tap.

"I'm glad I was able to find you and bring this back to you, then," she says, extending a hand. "I'm Rachel."

She takes the hand, more of a clasp in greeting than a shake once she's untangled herself enough to do so. "Something sentimental might have been kinder, but that's hardly your fault." A beat, then; "You organised the, um, this, didn't you?"

She smiles as she releases Benji's hand, rolling her shoulders in a little shrug. "Yes and no. I suggested it but I think someone with a lot more pull than me ran with the idea and actually put it together. I guess maybe, like, whoever it is that always organizes what seem to be the 'hey, we survived another monster attack' or whatever parties after each time the city goes to hell."
