For someone who is young both in body and mind, it shouldn't be this hard for Kiden to find something to do with herself these days. But with a lack of Laura by her side and her new found partner-in-crime Tommy probably causing mayhem without her, Kiden's left to stroll up and down the city blocks looking for trouble to get into. Let her tell it, trouble just follows her, but it doesn't help that she invites it closer to her with open arms.

She could get a job. Granted, she could use the pocket change, but really... last time she had a job she did it because she had rent to chip in for. Here in Baedal, she just freeloads off Remy and Wanda for the moment. They keep offering her food and a place to stay; she isn't ready to tell them no.

"I'm not buying you a coat." He huffs and glances to the side to make sure she doesn't have... some... large friend lurking around or something. "It's your fault for hanging out in a trash can, not mine. Just wash it. You're going to have to after sitting in there, anyway."

"I said pay for it to be cleaned, not... whatever." Kiden's tired of arguing with this clown, so doing it as easy as pie, she slips into No-Time, something she hasn't bothered to do for almost a week straight. She could just leave the guy there and let him wonder where she went when time goes back to normal, but she's here for a reason and he needs to learn his lesson.

Yes, a lesson. Kiden's brain is working this way. Don't question it.

There's a metal coat hanger lying next to the garbage can that Kiden notices when she manages to climb out and back onto solid ground. She can't touch this guy, not with skin to skin contact, but she can get what she wants out of him with a little ingenuity. Unraveling the hanger, Kiden straightens it out just enough for it to slip into the pocket of his scrub's pants and wiggle his wallet out enough that it falls onto the pavement. Score one for Team Nixon.

There isn't much in there, but a few marks is better than no marks. And by the time Rex realizes something is off, both his wallet and Kiden will be gone. Which would be right about now.
