a warning to people, the good and the evil, this is war [open]
Who: Lex and awful influences (IS THAT YOU?)
What: Sex, drugs, and violence. Rock and roll available upon request.
Where: Griss Twist: the arena, bar, open to anywhere else if the thread moves that way
When: Newdi
Notes: This is the promised bad decisions thread. You can have your character meet Lex either at home, the arena, bar, or somewhere else in Griss Twist, just please specify.
Warnings: The violence is definitely happening in the arena. Will add more warnings if things get terrifying.
Lex lets his staff know that he is about to leave before he departs for Griss Twist. He's taking his first day off from the new job and it's going to be used to channel aggression. The past week was one filled with tension between the nightmares, Lionel's arrival, and getting the new hires started with their duties. While the latter was welcome unlike the others, it was still an important job to do that added to his tension.
He's never put much stock in the 12 Point Divinity, but if Gediron has an arena in which to practice swordfighting, then Lex will at least pay homage long enough for combat. While he does own body armor, he doesn't bring it, only a saber that is much sharper than one usually used for fencing. Recreation by no means excluded survival. A stranger challenges him and Lex holds nothing back, the duel finally ending the the other man knocked to the ground.
When he's finally through with the arena, Lex stops in one of the bars in Griss Twist rather than heading straight home. It's much less savory than his familiar neighborhood of Brock Marsh, but he can take care of himself

"No, you're certainly not delicate," he answered warmly, trying to imply that he definitely approved in case Lex somehow didn't know already, "But we were talking about swords, weren't we? Foils don't suit you." He glanced down between them at the bag Lex had nudged, rolling the tip of his tongue piercing between his lips casually, then looked back at him, "Let me see your saber?"

He releases Aimery's hand and stands up from the barstool, standing far closer to Aimery than was necessary for reaching down and retrieving his bag. He withdraws the saber and still in his standing position, offers the weapon to Aimery. With hilt down and point up the invitation is to grab the blunt blade.

"Bigger than I recalled," Aimery commented, eyeing the sword. He ran two fingers up the blade slowly then rubbed his thumb in small circles over the 'point', and after a moment he hmm'd thoughtfully and slid his hand back down to feel the hilt. "I assume it's blunted so you don't penetrate your partner. That'd probably be very distracting for the crowd."
He couldn't keep a straight face or look Lex in the eye as he said that.

He allows Aimery to keep holds of the saber, he appreciates the way it looks in the other man's hands, and lets go. Before taking his seat Lex touches his fingertips to Aimery's chest and leans in further, bending at the waist to look at Aimery from just above eye level. "There's nothing like that at the arena. At home however..."
The words hang in the air and Lex retreats to his barstool, resuming to drink the beer and leaving Aimery with the sword.

Aimery watched Lex quietly for a moment, once again rolling his tongue piercing between his lips and trailing the fingers of one hand up and down the saber's blade. Both gestures were idle, casual, less real attempts to seduce as they were venting his own interest. The foot he extended to rest on Lex's bar-stool and barely brush against his leg, however, was for the other man's benefit. "True, there you can spar however you like. I bet that if you asked nicely, you might could find a partner who doesn't mind p-"
"That's enough of that," interrupted the bartender.

In a deliberately rebellious move that reminds him of his days long before Baedal, Lex finishes his drink and steps out of the chair once more. He approaches Aimery purposefully and curls his hand over the one Aimery's uses to brush against the blade. His grip is firm and authoritative, both practically holding the sword in place and showing himself to be someone who gets what he wants despite any hurdles.
He says nothing and this time Aimery gets the kiss that he was expecting. As Lex stands over him his free hand moves to Aimery's shoulder, pushing him down into the stool as they kiss, asserting himself to both Aimery and the bar around them.

Not even the bartender's annoyed growling was enough to distract him from it, "This ain't the bar for shitty puns and smoochin, you better take that somewhere else."

He carries on as if he hadn't heard, or perhaps feeling encouraged rather than deterred. He kisses Aimery hard, keeping him firmly in place every way possible. It's only when a strong hand forcibly grabs him from behind and pulls him away that he comes up for air.
"I'm not gonna tell you again," the bartender growls as he continues his hold. Lex shrugs himself out of the grip and bends down to pick up his bag, acknowledging Aimery rather than the bartender. "Bring the saber," Lex says coolly before turning to make his exit, confident that Aimery would be not far behind.

"Well that was... exciting. First time I've been told to leave a bar," Aimery chuckled once he caught up with Lex and followed him outside, trailing alongside him almost as if heeling. Once they were away from the crowd, exhilaration overcame embarrassment- look at them, breaking rules, flaunting their attraction, it made him feel if not powerful than empowered at least. He wet his lips with his tongue, still feeling the hard pressure of Lex's mouth from a few moments before, then dropped one hand to lightly brush his knuckles against the back of Lex's nearest hand, more as a way to show he was interested in continued touching than to ask for handholding. "Are we headed home then? Or do you want to find somewhere quiet and... make it not quiet?"

As he leaves Aimery in his wake, Lex continues talking, partially to judge how far behind Aimery in in ration to himself. "It's not the first time I've been kicked out and to be quite honest if you keep associating with me it most likely won't be your last." After that remark he keeps his talking to a minimum until they see the familiar sight of the Luthor-Veidt house.

"You say that as if it's a bad thing," he said as he sped up his walking in order to stay just behind of and close to Lex's side, holding the saber up with the blade sticking back over his shoulder like he was carrying a fishing pole. He went quiet, too, apart from the occasional 'oops' as he caught his shoe on a pebble and his annoyed muttering when he accidentally got the saber tangled in the loops of his scarf (after that he held it down at his hip like it was in a proper sheath).
It wasn't a very long trip back to the Luthor-Veidt house and, very lucky for Aimery, Lex's mood hadn't waned. Getting thrown out of a bar was absolutely worth it, in Aimery's opinion, even if he'd had a little too much to drink to clearly remember it the next morning.
