And then we had a conversation about vampires.

Who: Ianto Jones and Jack Harkness
What: No, seriously, a conversation about vampires. Also, about Greek gods.
Where: In bed.
When: Immediately following this craziness.
Notes: Communication is key to a successful relationship.
Warnings: Possible bickering. In bed. Now with smut! :D

Ianto disconnects the call with Cassandra, and he can't help but think the ringing silence in the room is rather foreboding. He hasn't done anything wrong, he knows that, and yet he knows Jack isn't pleased about what he probably feels is a failure on Ianto's part to pass on important intel. It's not always easy to separate their working relationship from their personal relationship, especially while living in a situation that falls under their jurisdiction, but in a foreign world where Torchwood is a non-entity. To make matters worse, Jack's defenses are visibly up about the whole vampire thing -- and Ianto is going to have words with Cassandra about mentioning things that only serve to scare the shit out of Jack.

Now they're on the precipice of what is probably going to be a very uncomfortable discussion, and Ianto has already given up on getting any more sleep in the near future. He looks sideways at Jack, but doesn't dare speak first.

Jack hissed at the pinching, jerking slightly at the abuse, his hand tightening slightly around Ianto's erection, his hips jerking a little as the other man rocked above him, involuntarily thrusting slightly as he did so. Alright, so Ianto could play dirty too, it seemed. Jack smiled wide, chuckling slightly at the other man's dedication to his actions. "...concentrating hard, I see..." he said, and his words were a little tense with how turned on he was in that moment, but Jack always did like to talk, even in moments like this one.
