Come a-hunting, come a-hunting, come a-hunting do.
Who: Ana Lewis and you. This is an open log for anyone who wants random CR.
What: Ana is doing a bit of hunting in bars for information on 'Réjean'
Where Different bars around Baedal.
Warnings: None really. Will update as needed.
Ana had learned that there were few things that were as good for gathering information as a nice pair of breasts showcased in a lovely black dress. Ana had gotten the lay of the land from the network and talking to random people, so she had learned where the bars were. The action of getting a dress and the shoes to match had been fairly easy as well. Now she was dressed to kill and moved with an easy confidence into the bar, her eyes wandering over people from behind the rim of her glasses.
She didn't look like she was trouble, and that was the point. Silly, ditzy and just a bubbly girl looking for a good time. The idea was to get someone to trust her in order to start speaking. Perching at the end of the bar with a smile, Ana quickly ordered "a cosmo, or whatever you have like it." One good thing about her nanomites being back; she really didn't need to worry about getting drunk.

He sipped on his drink und glanced over from time to time, having long noticed that she was doing the very same thing - watching people. He took in the tiny details, the way her eyes dart back and forth and, determining the perfect moment to casually glance over his shoulder and have their eyes meet.
He smiled.

Right now Ana didn't think that he was what she was looking for, but that didn't mean that he was totally useless. He could have information that might be helpful, and if nothing else he could be engaging and amusing cover. If nothing else, the fact that he was people watching would be fun to bounce off of.

"You know what they say about having the same hobbies?"

"So, darling, are you looking for someone in particular?"
no subject
He sat down, playfully stirring his drink with the straw, making the ice cubes clink together.
"Not yet. Isn't it funny how you only realize that you were in retrospect?"
no subject
Ana's eyes lowered to his drink and then rested her chin on her hand for a moment.
"Those are always good; that epiphany 'aha!' moment." A beat. "Are you having one now, darling?"
no subject
He sipped on his drink, tilting his head cheerfully. "On second thought, nothing explains the Village People."
Shawn put down his drink and offerend his hand. "Shawn Spencer."
no subject
"I think a whole lotta drugs would explain the Village People," she countered, as though musing it over.
Taking his hand, Ana remembered to shake it; here she was less likely to get role divide. "Ana Lewis."
no subject
He shook the hand with a cheerful wink.
"Shawn Spencer."

Of course, they'd already had such a fit by her time, and it had been fun to watch, even if it had been over different things.
"Nice to meet you, Shawn Spencer."
no subject
Shawn sips on his drink.
"So now that we've covered the late 70s quite succesfully here, how about adding some noir, just for the flair?" He drops his voice dramatically - or tries. "What's a beautiful lady like yourself doing in a place like this?"
