Her eyes remain in slits, but the hostility fades away mostly because at least he introduced himself and Kiden can't fault him for that. Plus, this is supposed to be the guy who comes and saves all mutantkind (not really.) Considering the short time she's been a mutant and all the bullshit she's been through so far, Kiden can't afford to burn a bridge that hasn't been built yet.
