I'll have three comment sections: one for Rhade showing up early, one for the collective group (we'll have to sort out orders since there are quite a few characters), and one for separate character interactions (one on one or whatever y'all prefer). The spell that Hasibe has worked over Lost Society means that no one is going to remember they were there; service will be a bit spotty, as a result, and the waiters on hand will seem peculiarly disinterested in whomever shows up, only providing them with drinks and necessities when deliberately prodded, but that's an aspect of the magic. She partially chose this location because it's easy to find a secluded area there, and in this case, she finds a table in the library, shrugging off her white coat to rest it on the back of her chair. She is dressed in a sleek, high-collared dark-green dress that is not too flashy, in order to keep with the discretion of the venue.

The other reason she chose this place is that they don't care if you smoke indoors. So that's what she's doing, rose-flavored Black Devil cigarette in hand, sitting back in her chair as she exhales smoke toward the ceiling. She has a couple books open on the table in front of her, and nothing in the way of food, but she does have a drink. Priorities.

He sits obediently. She is practically being reported to. Though there's a slight mix of military and warrior background colliding there, rather than any intention to treat her impersonally.

"I don't trust loyalty. I trust people to do what they think they need to." And he trusts Hasi's intentions quite a bit thus far. "Her name is Cindy. I am concerned for the physician that assisted me, because if he was able to follow her to her apartment, I'm uncertain that he won't be able to track her down."

"In this case, most of them have a personal investment, so that's good motivation." She considers what he says about the doctor, aware that casualties are, while often a byproduct of this type of conflict, going to eat at everyone. Hasi doesn't really let herself feel out of her depth in case the feeling catches her up and causes a problem, as she has a very important goal to focus on here, but she does wonder sometimes at this transition in herself.

But not now.

"We should warn her. We can do that without specifics, I think...it's not that I necessarily want to leave her out, but maybe if they do come after her, it's better if she has less information to theoretically give."

"That was originally why I withheld information. I don't know if she and Cindy are communicating extensively, but Cindy now knows who it was that attacked her house.

"Perhaps... I should amend my previous statement." He holds the pause for a second, searching for an adequate way to express himself. "The particular man... responsible for harming me can no longer pose a threat to her. I saw no information that he might have left for the Candlelighters, but that doesn't completely dismiss the possibility."

The implication was there. He very specifically hunted down one of the Candlelighters. He's careful, though. There are more certain ways to cover up the death, but he wants to know her reaction before bringing any of them up. The fact stands someone was harmed for aiding him, and he couldn't allow that.

Hasibe is soft-hearted in a lot of ways, but she understands the tactical necessity involved. She holds his gaze for a moment longer, and then nods, a touch resigned, but glad he took the steps to ensure Cindy's safety and his own.

"It's better if they can't report back to each other, and I know you're thorough; you've done really well with this. Ideally, it would be nice to have some time with them, but we don't have anywhere secure for placement." The ruthlessness of the idea troubles her, but yes: she is not above creating a hidden prison for Candlelighters, if it could be comprehensively maintained, at least while they are endeavoring to dismantle the organization. It's that maintenance that strikes her as difficult to accomplish, however, so she's not giving the idea much credence.

She reaches for her bag, in order to withdraw a small journal she's begun to assemble. It has notes and photos of items that have been brought through with stelanmancy by the Candlelighters, as she'll show Rhade shortly.

His own he cares little about. Cindy? Absolutely.

He's glad for the commentary on his efficiency though. "I doubt they would survive if we did, to be honest. Sooner or later, someone who had been wronged would find them. And they would make them suffer. As long as they're able to evade the current judiciary system, they will not be held accountable. And I can't press charges without implicating myself."

He watches as she searches through her bag. "I heard that Princess Nuala had an attempt made on her life. It may be in our best interest to encourage people to believe this. It seems Hellsing has made a favourable impression on the city."

"I don't necessarily like the idea of keeping them confined for punishment purposes," she admits, after a hesitant pause, "I don't want them to have die, but yes, I think it's sort of inevitable as a consequence of their decisions, you're right about that. For information extraction purposes, though, it might be useful."

She withdraws the journal and offers it to Rhade. In it, there are photos of objects the Candlelighters' stelanmancers have brought through, along with fairly meticulous records of every related incident or mention Hasibe has heard. They've got a lot of things that could conceivably be used to make explosives or chemical and biological weapons.

At the end, there's a little speculation, in her own cursive print: It looks like they're trying to make a weapon that only targets non-humans. Is that even possible?

"I'm inclined to agree. Are you thinking you want to pursue some communication with them on the subject?"
