The journey through the brambles is not so kind to Data's clothing—by the time they stop, the fabric has been pulled and torn to the point where he'll have to get rid of it after this. His skin hasn't been damaged too much due to its heightened durability, but there are a few shallow scrapes on his hands and arms where he shielded his face from the thorns. There will be no way to repair them.

When it's offered, Data takes the knife with no complaint. As far as he knows, Jaime is just a human; it's only fair that he keep the longer-range weapon.
