There's an old woman pacing outside the tower. When she sees you, she looks relieved. "You've come!" she exclaims as she approaches you. She explains the person you're looking for is here, locked at the top of this tower, but you'll never make it through the brambles on your own.

You need to find a certain golden sword; she thinks she last left it in the care of a troll under a bridge somewhere along the river... but she's not sure which one. You'll need to find it, hack through the iron roses, scale the tower, and wake your friend there up. And you'd better hurry, before something bad happens...
