Arthur isn't a dog person. As a rule, he's not much of a pet person, largely because his lifestyle doesn't really have any room for tiny, dependent creatures. When you're abroad as often as he is, it would just be cruel to get a pet. Of course, in Baedal, that's no longer an issue. Like it or not, he's stuck here-- at least for now-- and his main excuse for his strict "NO PETS" rules has been thrown right out the window.
If he ignores the slobbering and the way the dog's fur gets everywhere, Arthur has to admit... he kind of likes having an animal around now. At the very least, Frank makes a pretty decent running partner. Of course, he's still a puppy, so Arthur has to slow his pace down so that the little legs can keep up with him. But the dog's enthusiastic, energetic, so they cover a lot of ground each morning. Sure, they have to stop for frequent pee breaks (there's just so much territory for Frank to mark), and sure, sometimes Arthur has to carry the little guy back to the house, but it's nice to have a running companion.
And so, if you're out and about in Howl Barrow, you just might see Arthur and his-- no, Ariadne's-- dog jogging by. Or stopping for a canine territorial pissing.

some morning, idk
Those things were gross.
So she's got her hair pulled back in a ponytail, and she's spending as much time holding the dog as actually walking it, because who's a cutie-wutie-puppy-pie?

DAD IS HERE TO RUIN ALL THE FUN.

"Look at you! So cute," she murmurs to the puppy, but then takes Arthur's advice and puts him back down. "He's a good boy."
