She does not believe 'as bad as it looks' for a second, judging by the way her eyebrows raise momentarily, but she also understands that sometimes you have to go beyond your physical limitations. Some faqra have rituals for that kind of thing, things she's engaged in. "Tamam," she says. A few Turkish words enter her daily parlance on a casual basis, and okay is one of them.

Lea points at the steps themselves. "One of the things I do at home...or I used to do...was hunt. Certain things make themselves available with the right stimuli."

Something she applies to much more than hunting. She stands up, facing the house itself, pushing her hair out of her face when the wind, now to her back, decides to interfere with the way it falls. She can't quite see the top window, the one to that bedroom, but she knows what's there, and winds her fingertips through the extra-long sleeves of her saffron-yellow sweater, betraying her anxiety.

"Now," Lea says, very very quietly, more to herself and to her magic than anything else, "show me."

She closes her eyes.

Footprints seem to raise up all around them on the steps themselves and then the ground, leading down the street, all in shining metallic gold, faint and only visible to Lea and Wolfgang. There are quite a few, since Adam had gone to and fro a little in the couple of days before his inevitable breakdown, but that's why she got out her CiD.

When she opens her eyes, she seems a touch surprised it even worked, but she hasn't been doing a lot of magic since she got free of Lucas.

"Next, we need to look on the CiD maps to see where the closest shops that might sell clocks are in the area. Pawn shops, I think, antique stores. We look at the tracks facing the house--" She finds a pair of tracks that meet that description, and stands just behind them, demonstrating. "--and we follow them backwards. There are only four lines of tracks in the past week, so we only have four directions for places he's gone."
