Astrid looks up when he says her name, and her eyes widen to about the size of dinner plates when she sees the large red... being in front of her.
She just sort of stares at him, holding herself more stiffly than she was before, not moving a muscle for a long moment, before she looks down at the table and says, in a remarkably monotoned voice, considering that expression, "You are not a human. Your skin coloring is not natural for homo sapiens and you appear to have the bases of large horns coming from your skull, which is not biologically possible for a human."
Her eyes flick back up to not quite his face, and then down again. "Yes, I am Astrid."
