"They do?" she says- a redundant question. There's no reason for the other woman to lie to her, and it's not that she disbelieves her- just that she's amazed. There's a barely restrained excitement in her voice; she's trying not to throw herself at the topic with ravenous interest, though that hungry look in her eyes has only increased.

"Merlin, how- well. I'd say innovative, but really it's only sensible. How fascinating, though. Brilliant, in fact. Is it just theory, do you think, or do you have to have some magical ability in order to study it? It's so interesting, don't you think, the way magical and non-magical communities are completely integrated here? Or- no, integrated might be the wrong word- but how they're made known to one another. Openly. Universities were always a strictly Mu- a strictly non-magical institution at home."

Yes; she's talking a mile a minute.
