Not so thorough she's got a local anaesthetic on hand, unfortunately, but he'll just have to cope.

Once she's satisfied that she'll be able to cope with stitching something up as necessary, she lets herself back out of the apartment and locks it behind her, heading downstairs for the aforementioned service.
