It's genuinely difficult to catch Remy at the house when he's not either a) asleep, b) with Wanda or b) actively wrangling some kind of high octane domestic near-disaster with the boys, but Laura's always had a sense for the timing of things. At present, he's out back in the garden, smoking and leisurely getting back to people over the cohort network, so he's within earshot when Laura calls for his attention.

(Which is a little weird.)

Remy - who is a big guy with weird eyes, which makes him look intimidating even when he's not trying to be so - makes no assumptions when he comes into the hall and sees Laura and her guest. (Though he remembers Alice.) He gives Kiden a look that's curious, but not suspicious.
