By the time she pulls herself up onto dry land, she's got feet in lieu of fins (and the odd black mark on her tail is a tattoo, apparently- if she gets another it's not going to be on her legs, it distorts oddly when she shifts) and she's flicking off the worst of the water- of course she didn't bring a towel, she doesn't actually care that much about wandering around cold and damp. 'Cold and damp' is her natural state of being. She dresses quickly (bodysuit, trousers, turtleneck- things she can slide into quickly and not fuss with on the side of the riverbank), taking more care not to get the folders at the bottom of her bag wet than her clothing.

Indifferent to observation, she leans forward and pulls her hair tight, winding most of the water out of it before she twists it about halfway into a loose braid, knots it off and puts her hat on. All in all, this doesn't take her long at all with the speed of practise, and her illusion is neatly in place before she's done, efficient and quick and apparently used to hurriedly putting herself together like this.

"It's this way," she says, sliding her feet into her heels and wiping water off her bag. Her mood is a little off, from what it was earlier in the day, but she's just quieter, mostly. Still amiable enough, in her fashion.
