Probably if Aimery directly worked for him rather than answering to Lex, Adrian would feel more concern over his trustworthiness. But as it lies, this is Lex's problem to deal with, so Adrian will make sure to lock up his office and his labs, but he's unlikely to get more involved than that unless he feels the situation is taking a personal toll on Lex.
