There's a light knock on the door before it's slowly opened. Shiori's head is already bowed slightly in embarrassment. Who knocks on the door of an obviously abandoned, dilapidated and quite possibly dangerous building? Shiori does, apparently.
Shiori's road to the abandoned building had been fairly straightforward. After connecting with a field agent as per Nuala's request and going through the notes and files already collected at Hellsing about the disappearances, the house in Griss Twist seemed like a solid first step. She had come alone, which was technically against Nuala's wishes, but with most if not all field agents preoccupied with the cruorvore controversy, Shiori didn't want to wait for her partner to be available to follow this lead. That, and this investigation was a personal project of Shiori's. She couldn't justify pulling a field agent away from other duties that took priority.
So, alone as she is, she jumps when she sees Raylan, taking a step back towards the door. "Ah, I'm sorry, I didn't think anyone was living here!"
