Ivan hasn't been answering his CiD for a few days. In part because, even with Njoki's remedy, his face still feels terrible. In part, however, he's been thinking a great deal. He'd laughed off the growing anti-vampire sentiment for a time, but now it was clear to him that more was going on than simply fear and prejudice. By the time he was well enough to leave his apartment regularly again, he wanted to have a plan in mind, and he had little time for keeping up to date with the Network beyond news postings.

Ordinarily, Ilde wouldn't bother. If he doesn't feel like answering his text messages, that's fine; she doesn't exactly have a lack of other things to be doing in Baedal and they aren't obligated to each other. On the other hand, as occurs to her almost as quickly as the irritation of being ignored dissipates, the sentiment in the city lately hasn't been so friendly to his kind.

He's probably fine, but she'll be annoyed if he isn't, and he isn't answering. She's already a little annoyed at having to take the time to make sure, honestly, going down to Mafaton after her last lesson of the day.
