Laura's not home all that much -- she and Remy disappear a lot at the same time for purposes it's best for everyone to not notice or comment on, but it's not like they're, like, attached at the butt or anything, she has a life of her own and often she's out pursuing her own interests. Usually those involving punching someone. In the face.
When she is home, she doesn't talk much. She's mostly content to be talked at, occasionally interjecting yes or no answers. Sometimes she allows herself to be taken out "shopping," which likely rarely ends at any clothing stores because neither of them are that type of person, and Laura makes an effort but she just can't. She has to get her endless supply of fishnet thigh-highs and patent leather miniskirts somewhere, but God only knows where that is since she never seems to enter any of Baedal's stores. Maybe that's her other superpower. Mysterious.
Mostly she takes Kiden out to eat. There's a street vendor a few blocks from the house that Laura especially likes. It's run by an older Lebanese fellow who makes great falafel and seems perfectly happy to chat to Laura between other customers without expecting her to answer any of his questions, which suits her. She's sitting on a bench next to the stand, happily (as close as she ever gets, anyway) munching away.

Laura loves food, hates talking.
