Ianto straightened after a few moments of comfort in Jack's embrace, glad to have something to focus on, to take away from his thoughts of Tosh and thoughts of eternal separation from Jack. The idea was easily more horrifying than leaving Jack by virtue of the mortal coil. Dying was both inevitable and natural, but being alive and knowing one of them was trapped beyond all help... If he dwelled too deeply on it, he knew he would become paranoid and he needed to keep his wits about him.
