Jack had woken up before Ianto, as he was prone to doing, and lay around in bed for about an hour, curled up against Ianto's side, before he'd finally roused himself and shuffled over to the bathroom to wash his face and get dressed. He didn't need to look in the mirror, he knew what he looked like, which in retrospect spared him but also made the situation that much more bizarre. After doing so, he wandered down to the kitchen to start making something. He didn't know what, yet. He thought he'd start with bacon, though, and see what came to him. Hearing the water running upstairs meant that Ianto would be down soon and would help him decide.
The sounds of a shout and then some very loud crashing surprised Jack out of his musing, however, and he catapulted out of the kitchen (after taking the bacon off the stove and shutting it off, he didn't need their new house burning down thank you) and up the stairs. "Ianto!? Ianto!"
Reaching the bathroom, he looked around to see the broken mirror and toothbrush holder, and Ianto sitting in the midst of the chaos, looking more than slightly shaken. "Ianto?" Jack asked, cautiously, as he carefully picked his way through the broken glass to get to the other man's side. "What...? What happened?" he asked, kneeling in front of him gently. He reached out and took the other man's chin in his hand, turning his face to the side so he could see the cut. "You're bleeding," he noted.
