Cassandra exhaled slowly, grateful that he had pulled away. The relief was quickly followed by a flash of anger. She knew that smile. She hated that smile. It was the smile of a smug, self-righteous immortal who just knew that he was charming and that being charming would get him everywhere in life. She had seen it more than she cared to for one lifetime and four different worlds.
She folded her arms, recollecting her composure. This was decidedly easier when Apollo was farther away, when she couldn't smell him. "Then I'm wrong?" she asked tartly.
