While Adrian is no longer quite the social butterfly he was in his younger days, he has every appreciation for the opportunity to enjoy an evening in interesting company. Even should the meeting be a failure socially, he'll have learned something useful, which will make it time well spent.

From the bit he gleaned about Jack during their brief conversation, however, Adrian isn't expecting any kind of failure at all.

He arrives at the restaurant on time, having already seen a tailor and had several suits made, including a recreation of a particular favorite -- purple silk, worn over a black turtleneck. Much less business-oriented than the black suit he arrived in, and certainly made to with the idea of calling attention to the wearer. Spotting Jack immediately, he makes his way toward the bar, smiling.
