It's not something he's put a lot of thought into but he just naturally assumes Sonja is trouble, given her weaponry and attire, and Ilde's association with her probably indicates something similar. This is not a bad thing, considering the little adventure they're on. Still, he appreciates the comparative restraint Ilde is showing.
