Sonja doesn't especially look like a very effective soldier (cut-rate underwear model waving a piece of metal around, Lucas's father had sneered, following that up by implying she looked more like an offering than a bodyguard), but that's part of her advantage, sometimes. Especially since she's as inclined toward brutal guerrilla tactics and manipulation as she is straight-up combat, but she doesn't think there's currently much need for the former on this boat.
