Jack does recognize that here's something that Sebastian isn't telling him there, but he lets it go for the moment. They have just met after all, and while Jack doesn't really go out of his way to be polite, he tries not to purposely annoy anyone either. "Well. We can't have that, now can we..." he says, grinning at Velcro once more before eying the fruit in his hand.
