Though not at all important to Dean, Rodolphus is nearly always at the guild hall or out working. He doesn't sleep well and has little to say to people, so he's in and out at all hours of the day. Wizards like him are quite accustomed to ghosts, though in his world, it's a matter of choice and not whatever's going on with Dean — he simply won't understand right away, if ever.

He's probably the least useful person to see striding down the hall at some ungodly hour, but he is here, wearing his customary dark clothes and dull robe and complete lack of expression.
