So that's reassuring.

She pauses and then smiles, looking a tiny bit pleased with herself. "Alright, first lesson: Apparition. That's...a magical form of transportation, distinct from most other forms of magic because- well, um, it's sort of like teleportation. The effects are like teleportation. The theory's completely different. But you get from Point A to Point B with nothing inbetween." She offers an arm. "Want to try? It's quicker than the train, and I wouldn't like you to think magic is all about curses and countercurses."
