Usually Steph is a bit of an impatient person, but when it comes to people needing help, she can force herself to stand still and wait.

"If it's cool with you," her smile brightens a little, because she's genuinely pleased that Megan hasn't already shut the door in her face, "I know I don't look it, but I'm a surprisingly good nurse."

Although her nursing experience was generally in the form of patching up wounds, she did do a fair bit of looking after sick kids when she was travelling around with Dr Thompson and figures looking after Megan for a little bit won't be too tricky.
