The disagreement throws Shrieky for a loop, slightly, interfereing with his self affirming glee long enough for him to notice the expression of sorrow on the other man's face. He can't quite shake his happiness away, but the fact that it obviously isn't shared does force him to contain it slightly.

"I don't know why you'd want to be human, if you had a choice." And then he does frown, "Well, no, actually that's entirely untrue..." There's a short pause, before he adds, "I just don't think that you should."
