Jae doesn't look offended or uncomfortable; this is how it is for everyone, one way or another. Everyone is always mad about being mistreated, and everyone is always going to mistreat someone else, and people are very rarely going to want to look past themselves in either direction. At this point, Jae is almost numb to it in a social sense - Korean in Japan, Chongryon within the Zainichi, Zainichi in South Korea, Asian in the western world - he expects a certain degree of shit treatment, even aside from the division of the supernatural and mortal worlds and his time imprisoned at the facility. But he likes everybody anyway, because nobody's the same.
