"I've talked to a couple people about it," he muses. "One of my co-workers at the radio station was born here, but her husband wasn't. She says it really depends - a lot of people adapt to life here and like it better, some people are never happy. And there's that stigma, being new, like - there are places that won't hire anybody off a new cohort, you know? There's a real divide the more you start talking to people, but we're so separated from everything by virtue of not being integrated yet, it's hard to see."

Culture and society are fascinating to Jae. On top of it, he loathes being trapped. It's been a subject he's looked into, in his own way.
