"There's that," Rachel allows, chuckling. "And I guess we also don't have to, like, worry about how we're going to explain the mess. Since we both seem pretty determined to try to make a difference."

It's comforting that they have that in common. It's likely even something that drew her to him to start with.

"Since I guess, the way things are going, it's probably too much to ask that the mess miss both of us entirely."
