She raises her glass, a return salute, taking a sip before she answers.

"Right now I manage a boarding house in Aspic, near the marketplace."

It's probably the sort of job she really has no business doing, but she means well and she does try.

"But that's because my real calling doesn't pay the bills. I try to help people, save them from terrible fates when I can. I suppose it would be weird to charge money for that."
