"You're not the first one to say it." She's fine with teasing, and she does have a bit of a habit of trying to take care of people.

"You're right, it just..." she trails off with a shrug, not sure how to word it, "It's been a while since I've had to play at being content with a shitty situation, I'm more used to yelling at someone about it."

So not doing that feels like giving in, somehow, even though she knows that's not very logical.
