Funny, Steph said Barbara missed Angela. Maybe it was just a correct assumption based on familiarity. But she wouldn't have guessed that Barbara had been hiding in her house away from people. Angela didn't know she made that big of an impression on Babs, aside from some raunchy jokes and maybe a little flirting from Angela's side of things. But now she knows that her leaving meant so much more to Barbara than Angela ever knew and the guilt from that alone puts an ache in her chest that feels like a boulder on her heart.

For a second, she just stands there, taking Barbara in, taking in her general state of being. She feels like she just walked in on Babs, interrupting her life.

"I didn't bring any coffee today," Angela awkwardly apologizes because she's at a clear loss as to how to respond to Barbara's tone. There's so much in that one word, her name, that where to begin is a mystery.
