agrat: (exactly what it's going to take.)

Lea is opening her CiD as she settles down next to Wolfgang, heels hooking on the front steps in an absent-minded fashion. She inclines her head at what he says--sounds about like what she'd figured, with the new element being the use of objects--and turns the CiD over in her hands, registering the city map on the screen.

"We can expedite the process by going straight to the source," she says, "of course, that requires finding the source, but I have a plan for that."

Plans are her thing, you see, as impulsively concocted as they may be.

Lea gives Wolfgang an appraising look, a little concern echoing in her expression.

"First things first...are you sure you're up for this? We don't know what we'll find, but this has sin screaming from it, and that is never simple." Her tone indicates she wouldn't judge him if he weren't. Sanity honestly dictates she sit her ass down and hand this off to Hellsing or someone, but she doesn't trust anyone else's own two hands, and she also believes herself as capable as anyone else, if rather rattled due to her own recent events.

Maybe she wants this to be a distraction.

"Psychometry is something we should use sparingly, if so."

Because she's not sure how many more knocks like that anyone needs to take, much less someone whose health isn't the greatest. It would be more sensitive to just not bring this up, but sensitivity and practicality are difficult to marry, and she tries, but when it comes down to something shaping up to be this dangerous, the former tends to be edged out by the latter, where Lea's concerned.

(And she can't get that twisted, circular body out of her mind. Later she'll draw it, just to put the image out of her head and onto paper.)
