He was used to the geth, a race of synthetics that looked unmistakably synthetic no matter what. Even the ones with the advanced flexweave materials that moved around like lizards didn't look truly alive. It threw him to see something that admitted to being synthetic, but looked exceptionally human. Piqued his technical curiosity, to be sure. ( But no, asking to run tech specs on something like this was without a doubt the most rude thing you could do ever, so abolish that thought right now, Garrus. )

 

"Correct," he finally answered. "But.. ah.. just Garrus is fine." They weren't in the military anymore, regardless of the fact that they'd both had a military background. Unfortunately his own recall was not so perfect, if they'd even been properly introduced in the first place. All he could remember was calling it.. him.. the poor man out on being a synthetic and potentially illegal.
