Mycroft wouldn't have introduced himself with his first name—especially not to someone with turquoise hair whose first words to him were 'Shit, that's a hot suit'—but with the choice made for him, he covers up a more severe expression with something of a shallow smile and bears it. Jae's sincerity helps. A bit.
"Likewise, I'm sure."
He's seen and heard recordings of Jae on the Network (in fact, the first thing the younger man's presence brings to mind is the splitting of the sky, days and days of running and hiding and death, and the constant SMB broadcasts that began accompanying it all halfway through the madness / push it away, push it away, not now). Jae is much the same in person as he is 'online,' though his familiarity with Ilde seems to bring out a particular ease in him.
Mycroft has a bit of trouble understanding why that translates into such familiarity with Mycroft, however. The thought that it's because he's Ilde's friend doesn't even cross his mind.
