Shepard noticed Garrus' agitation - it was tough not to, as well as she knew him. If they were alone, she might've done something more to help - taken his hand, or at least given his arm a squeeze. As it was, she just gave him a gentle nudge, hopefully enough to keep him grounded.

"I guess there is always the theory of infinite universes," she suggested. "If you accept that, then you accept infinite possibilities. Including deities, magic and stuff like that."
