Those guesses would pretty much be right, as odd as that may seem to space-future people like Shepard and Garrus. (Imagine how they'd take it if someone told them what his sword was and how he got it.)

"There are some universes that apparently don't have an Earth, but still have humans who just have other names for their homeworlds. There are some I guess like yours, with spaceships and humans and aliens." Now that he's gotten away from himself and into discussing more general possibilities, he's loosened up some and gotten into it. "Some, Earth seems to be on its own, but there's more than just regular humans: vampires, ghosts, fae, mutants, wizards, superheroes, the list goes on."

He takes a sip of his drink. "Mine's mostly the supernatural stuff, but we've had the occasional alien show up."

(Hellboy recognizes how dismissive it is to just lump all of the encounters he's had -- and he's probably had more of them than anyone else, just like with most anything else -- into the catch-all "aliens," but it's not like any of them really stuck around to exchange much cultural information.)
