They say it gets easier with time and maybe they're right, whoever they are. But still, she feels like she should think about her mother more often than not, at least once a day, just so it'll feel like no one's forgotten her smile, her hugs, or the way she used to braid Kate's hair after Kate just wanted to leave it loose and go to karate.
