"But I know you would've pulled it off in the end and gotten back at them tenfold. That's who you are, how it's always been.." He smiled at her, giving her hand a gentle, reassuring squeeze. It was one of those things he'd picked up over time in his observations of humans. Those sorts of subtle actions seemed to be particularly comforting to them.
